The most important issue we feel when hiring a car is the insurance – many rent- a- car companies who offer ridiculously low prices do not include the insurance & other taxes that are due here in Tenerife.
Another issue is the quality & size of the fleet, along with, more importantly their emergency/breakdown service the car hire company offers you during your stay on the island .

All risks to you the Hirer are covered by this charge. Details of this insurance will be explained to you at the time of hiring and are also detailed on the "Hirers" agreement.
The above is an extra voluntary payment and will further cover all risks to the vehicle whilst under the hire agreement. Should the above voluntary option NOT be taken, and there be either damage to, or theft of the vehicle whilst under a hire agreement, the excess of up to €120 is payable on Groups A- C and €240 Groups D-H.
